Indeed, drone vehicles cannot be imagined without AI systems. Gartner predicts that the number of new cars equipped with autonomous technology will quadruple in the coming years. But this is only the beginning of AI opportunities in transportation.
AI-based solutions and advanced machine learning algorithms help significantly accelerate design workflows. And collaborative robots, designed to take on tedious or monotonous tasks, are already being actively used in manufacturing. AI is much better at inspecting manufactured parts than humans, as it pays attention to even microscopic irregularities.
AI is capable of detecting a variety of technical violations in record time. Based on the data collected by special sensors, the system can inform the developer or the user about system malfunctions or the need to replace specific parts. And this information comes even before possible defects appear or before incorrectly manufactured parts are installed.
